This Terms of Use agreement ("Agreement") is between Camlens ("we," "us," or "our") and you ("you" or "your"). It governs your use of the Camlens mobile application ("App").
By downloading, accessing, or using Camlens, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance
By downloading the App, connecting devices, or making a purchase, you accept this Agreement and consent to transact with us electronically.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will notify you of material changes within the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Our Services
Camlens is a dual-device collaborative photography tool that turns two Apple devices into a real-time camera preview system. Our services include:
- Real-time camera feed streaming between two devices via local peer-to-peer connection
- Device discovery via local network and connection code pairing
- Multiple broadcast quality levels (Smooth, Balanced, Clear)
- Mirror mode for natural viewing experience
- System-level screen broadcast capability
- Premium features: HD quality, unlimited daily sessions, unlimited session duration
3. Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, design, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Camlens and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or copy the App
- Not use the App to stream or broadcast inappropriate, illegal, or unauthorized content
- Not use the App in any way that could harm the App or impair others' use
- Keep your device and Apple ID secure
Network Requirement: Both devices must have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled for discovery and connection. No internet connection is required. All data is transmitted locally via peer-to-peer technology.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Camlens offers free and premium features. Premium features require a subscription.
- Subscription options: Monthly or Lifetime (where available). Actual prices are displayed in the App.
- Payment: All payments are processed by Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
- Free trials: Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Platform limitation: Subscriptions are for iOS only and cannot be transferred to other platforms.
6. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Sections 3, 5, 7, 8, and 9 of this Agreement survive termination.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Camlens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to connection failures, stream interruptions, or data loss, arising from your use of the App.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into this Agreement.
9. Disclaimers and Warranties
- The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Stream quality may vary depending on device hardware, network conditions, and distance between devices.
- We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- You use the App at your own risk.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
